Baby update: Week 9
Baby Bug rolled over for the first time today!! She got her bath, peed on my bed and my pants leg, rolled over, and then went to sleep.
I’m assuming that because she’s older now, she doesn’t have the need for extended periods of sleep, cause she certainly acts that way! She likes to trick me by going to sleep (deep sleep) for about 30 minutes, and then once I either lat down as well, or start to do something, she wakes up. she really only takes about one long nap a day, which still lasts for about 3 hours. Usually around noon or 2ish she’ll go down, but since we both didn’t wake up till noon today, 4:30 is when she fell asleep.
We went to bed really late last night because baby bug was constipated and developed some hemerroids. :( She just kept pushing, and then screaming in pain. She’s usually very happy about pooping. He bottom is raw now, and when she woke up at noon, after a long night, she just wailed pitifully in pain. It was heartbreaking.
Tomorrow, Bug, my mom, and I will be going on a little road trip to Charlotte! We’re going to go to the Ikea, and do some other shopping and eat some yummy cajun food. My mom goes there for work all the time and my ex husband has a brother and sister in law who lives up there. But forget about all that-there’s an Ikea.
Other than that, she’s just HUGE. Not fat or anything, although she does have some magnificent cheeks, she’s just…large…Proportionally so! She’s already almost too long and sometimes (very rarely) too wide for the 0-3 month clothes, so she’s already wearing the 3 month outfits and onsies I got for her! Goodness!
